Youthpower is the theme proposed by LaSalle College Jakarta for the annual Fashionbloom & Beautyphoria. Previously known as Creative Week, this year event will go back to the original concept of exhibition. This year will mark the 9th times of the annual event that have been conducted since 2010. It will exhibit the final projects of final year students of LaSalle College Jakarta.

Started from last April 2018, the 5th semester students presented their collection during an event with a theme of Youth Tonic. The current theme, Youthpower, is a continuation of that theme. Youthpower wants to inspire the youth to maximize their own power by producing the best outcomes. This power defines a positive movement: to motivate and support, and to appreciate the design and the people. (Power!Kuat (a): mampu dan kuasa (berbuat sesuatu); mempunyai keunggulan (kecakapan dan sebagainya) dalam suat pengetahuan (kecakapan)-KBBI)

The theme is also inspired by a fashion trend: In Touch (WGSN). In Touch explores the urge to reconnect with things that touch us emotionally and physically. It is an era driven by technology and data and In Touch wants to bring people back and focus on nostalgic dressing, touch of hand, constructive concept and insta-party for the Gen Z digital natives. At the same time, the Youth Power would like to deliver messages of the urge to rediscover our roots and the desire to seek out things that connect us.

This message will also support the 73rd Independence of Indonesia. The use of literal red and white with cream, camouflage and natural color will play along the exhibit area. The designers' booth also will maximize the use of the elements to support their pride of being Indonesians. Meanwhile, the collections produce by the students are well-made, personal creation and carefully designed and curated for several months before the final presentation. Therefore the exhibition and activities during the festival will voice the youth contribution to their roots by showcasing collection inspired by their love to the countries.
