Graphic Design Certificate

The Digital Media Design Certificate Programs at LaSalle College Jakarta focus on providing intensive study in media arts for individuals who are developing a new career, making a career change, or seeking to enhance their existing art, or design skills. These programs focus on the specific skills and technical proficiency you need to get ahead in one of these fields. With a Digital Media Design Certificate Programs, you don't spend years in school learning things that don't apply to your chosen profession. Certificate Programs currently offered are: Computer Graphic and Multimedia. 

A Certificate of Computer Graphic at LaSalle College Jakarta is a 63-credit program with nineteen courses.  Those who take the program will become proficient users of common digital imaging and media production tools like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign. 

The Digital Media Design Certificates can be completed in 1 year of full-time or 2 years of part-time study. These credits can then be transferred to a diploma which is completed in another year.

The Diploma in Digital Media Design can be completed in 2 years of full-time or 3 years of part-time study. 

  • Research the preliminary development of a project.
  • Explore the various trends and styles found in both art and design history.
  • Choose and organize visual components based on a target objective.
  • Use drawing, page layout, and image processing software on Mac and PC platforms.
  • Develop concepts of digital imagery in 2D, 3D, animation and special effects formats.
  • Develop techniques for writing screenplays and scripting storyboards.
  • Execute integrated multimedia operations using software and media.
  • Acquire skills in developing concepts and create a unique style in photography.
  • Develop Web page design skills.
  • Develop interactive applications and create basic video games.
  • Blend 2D & 3D computer-generated images into animations.
  • Understand and resolve the constraints inherent in the production of multimedia projects both online and on CD-ROM.
