LaSalle College Jakarta is continuing its annual participation in the Jakarta Fashion Week 2018 which will be held on Monday, October 23, 2017 at Fashion Tent, Senayan City. With the theme’s "PRELUDE" which will showcase the masterpiece of creativity of the outstanding young designers.
This year marks the eight year for LaSalle College Jakarta in showing its existence in prestigious Fashion event at Jakarta. This event is a good platform for the fashion community of LaSalle College Jakarta from Fashion Design and Fashion Business Program to promote their brand to the public sphere.

LaSalle College Jakarta has a firm and long-standing commitment to promoting national and global fashion industry. One of its contribution is to train new talents and to introduce them to the world. On the runway of Jakarta Fashion Week this year, LaSalle proudly presents ten young and aspiring designers who are going to showcase their creations, some of which happen to be the final projects of their undergraduate studies. Each of these designers has their own unique way of interpreting ideas and developing concepts. Some go with a more global take in their creative process while others incorporate more traditional values but with a relatively new approach. If a fashion designer’s collection can be likened to a music composition, then metaphorically speaking, the work of these LaSalle College Jakarta fresh designers can be considered a prelude to their future and more elaborate work.
