We congratulates the Fashion Design alumni from LaSalle College Jakarta, Kelly Vallerie ( @kellyvallerie_ ) who won the Harper’s Bazaar Indonesia 'Asia New Fashion Awards (ANFA) 2019.
She successfully completed her “FREAKS” Fall 2019 Collection. The collection was made for Harper’s Bazaar Asia New Gen Fashion Awards 2019, and this collection is inspired by the history of disabled people from freaks show. Kelly has been wanting to join Harper’s Bazaar Asia NewGen Fashion Awards from a long time, and finally at the end of last year she felt it was the right time to join this competition, she registered to join and through this competition she hopes to receive valuable lessons and expand her connection in the fashion industry, to further develop her business and brand promotion.
When finishing her program in LaSalle College Jakarta, Kelly learned a lot about the proper steps in designing a collection and pattern making techniques. Since then she always uses those proper steps for the process of making mood board, fabric research and design selection wherever she works. Moreover, the result of pattern making experiment always be the main detail in every collection she created.

Kelly Vallerie won through the design of an Avant-Garde-style collection with multi-functional fashion features. Through this victory two (2) of representatives from Indonesia; Kelly Valerie and Dea Yuliana will advance to the final round of the Southeast Asia region competition.
