Interior Design Department Participated again in Bravacasa 2016 at Ritz Carlton, Pacific Place Jakarta
Bravacasa Indonesia held CASA by Bravacasa again! CASA by Bravacasa is art and Design exhibition which was held at The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place, on 1st – 4th June 2016. CASA by BRAVACASA has been an annual event since 2010, which opens for the public. With a different concept every year, this exhibition is intended for the public to see more about the development of the Interior Design trend. In this great opportunity, LaSalle College Jakarta participated again with its works from three talented students of LaSalle College Jakarta, Interior Design Program.
They are Ariwiratma with her works called “HATCH”, gathering inspiration from the concept of pockets “HATCH” acts as a room divider constructed from linear rods of steel. Then Alicia Puspadewi Nugroho with her “TOADSTAND”, the world of gaming has been a part of young generations. A timeless icon of the genre has been the world of Super Mario. A story about two brothers. With the help of some friends, trying to save princess locked away in a tower. One of those said friend is a friendly mushroom named Toad. The last but not least, Nicholas Arvin Mulyadi who presented his “REGENERATION”, the chair was inspired from the Victorian Era. At That era, the design of chair was elegant and classy. So I was thinking to reborn it into more modern without changing the DNA of that chair like a newborn baby. Therefore, I named it REGENERATION
Not only exhibition and Design competition, this event also held CASA Talks to discuss about Design issues which became a platform for Design enthusiasts and Design experts to share their ideas. These beautiful works are just a part of best works from LaSalle College Jakarta’s students. See you again next year!
