Our Fashion Design program had a fashion show at Digital Fashion Week with 3 different collections: LIPAT, SUPREMUS, and NIAN TANA.
LIPAT was derived from the collaboration of beauty and rich Javanese cultures. Emphasizing on origami detailing, Lurik stripes with the art of paper folding created looks that are pleasing to the eyes.
SUPREMUS was inspired by the art of Suprematism and paintings from the founder of the Suprematism movement in Rusia, Kazimir Malevich. It focuses on basic geometric patterns and bright colors.
NIAN TANA industrial project collection inspired by the natural beauty and warmth of Flores Island’s, East Nusa Tenggara. Handwoven, naturally dyed traditional textiles from Maumere are used combined with beadings, embroideries, and fabric manipulations.
Congratulations! Such beautiful showcase! ❤
