Creative Week 2017
LaSalle College Surabaya as a pioneer of design education in Surabaya held CREATIVE WEEK event as an event for young designers to hone their creativity.

This event will be held from 7 to 20 August 2017 at East Coast Center Atrium located in Pakuwon City Surabaya.
In line with the title, in this event there will be a series of creative activities in the form of Project Runway competition entitled "Batik Goes to Red Carpet" which is a challenge to use local wisdom that is batik cloth to create the best clothes ready for use in official event with limited time. There is also a competition for high school students and beginners in other fashion areas in creating clothing with draping techniques, also using batik cloth.
In addition to the competition, there will also be an exhibition of current projects from LaSalle College Surabaya students as well as interactive workshops and talkshows that will share their experiences and knowledge. Certainly the exclamation of design learning can be felt in various activities at this event.
TERMS:
1. Competition is individual.
2. Participants are students, at least 16 years of age.
3. Each participant must arrive on time during the competition.
4. The work of participants is original, not a clone and has never been published or included in any other competition.
5. The results of the participants' work are entirely the property of the committee during the event.
6. The judges team, the committee and all alumni & students of LaSalle College Surabaya are not allowed to enter the competition.
7. The decision of the judges is final, absolute and inviolable.
CONDITIONS:
1. Each participant is required to pay a registration fee Rp 100,000.
2. The registration fee is not refundable
3. Each participant must bring their own batik material and other supporting materials.
4. The manufacture technique should be made directly on the mannequins that have been provided.
6. Every participant is required to attend the Technical Meeting on 7 August 2017 starting at 16.00 at Atrium East Coast Center.
COMPETITION IMPLEMENTATION:
1. Elemination round will be divided into 3 batch which will be implemented from 11 - 13 August 2017 starting at 15.00 - 19.00 at Atrium East Coast Center.
2. For the next, There will be 2 participants selected every day to follow the final round on August 20 starting at 16:00 to 20:00 pm at the Atrium East Coast Center.
3. The Design of the selected participants will be displayed and exhibited to the visitors. The visitors can participate in this competition by Vote on Monday 14th August to August 20th.
4. The voting system is open for public and the selected participants are allowed to ask their friends as much as possible to vote.
5. Please do the re-register at 15:00 on 20 August, if the finalists are not showing till the event begins, then the finalist is declared void.

1st winner : Certificate + Scholarship worth 15 million + Cash Rp.1.000.000 + Singer 3223color.
2nd winner : Certificate + Scholarship worth 15 million + Cash Rp.500.000.
3rd Winner : Certificate + Scholarship worth 15 million + Cash Rp.3.000.000.
Favorite : Cash Rp.250.000.

6. The participants must already have the basic skills of sewing
7. The judges team, the committee and all alumni & students of LaSalle College Surabaya are not allowed to enter the competition.
8. The decision of the judges is final, absolute and inviolable.
CONDITIONS:
1. Each participant is required to pay a registration fee Rp 200,000.
2. The registration fee is not refundable
3. Each participant must bring their own batik material and other supporting materials.
4. Each participant is required to bring such sewing equipment (scissors cloth, yarn, pin needle etc.) respectively. The committee only provides Singer portable sewing machine with heavy duty 4423 type.
5. The process of pattern making, cutting of cloth and clothing measurements tailored to the model of each participant and can be done before the competition's H day.
6. If the participant passes to the next round, then each participant must bring his model for fashion show wearing the clothes of his work that will be judged by the judges.
7. Make Up and Hairdo for the model are provided by the selected participants according to the theme of each participant's clothes
8. Sewing process should only start at the competition and end at the end of the competition.
9. Every participant is required to attend the Technical Meeting on 10 August 2017 starting at 16.00 at Atrium East Coast Center.
COMPETITION IMPLEMENTATION:

2. Each participant must submit his illustrated design drawings and pieces of cloth to the envelope before August 17, 2017.
3. For the next, there will be the best 3 participants selected per day to follow the final judging and fashion show on August 20, 16:00 to 19:00 PM at Atrium East Coast Center.
4. Please do the re-register at 15:00 on 20 August, if the finalists are not showing till the event begins, then the finalist is declared void.
